Our self-service farm store is open to the public 24 hours/day, every day. Most of the time you can see the cows from the farm store’s driveway. If you are interested in interacting further with the animals and learning more about the farm, reach out to us about scheduling a farm tour.

Tour Options

- Grazing and Poultry Tour: Meet the herd of cattle and learn about rotational grazing, see the meat chickens, visit the flock of laying hens, and learn how all of these species work together to benefit the land while producing great food! This tour is only available May through November.

- Milking Tour: Meet the cows up close, watch them getting milked, try to milk one by hand if you want, see the milkhouse and parlor and learn the process of how the milk gets from cow to consumer, and get some calf snuggles! Note that this tour has to take place during milking, so the start time can either be 8am or 3pm.

- Custom Tour: If you are interested in learning about something that doesn't fit neatly into one of the above categories, we are happy to accommodate to the best of our abilities.

Tour Details

- Timeframe: A tour lasts 30 – 45 minutes.

- Cost:
A tour costs $100. This is a FLAT RATE for any group from 1 person to 10 people. If you have a larger group, contact us to let us know your situation and we will let you know if we can accommodate the group and what the price would be.

- Payment: Payment must be received at least 10 days before the tour date. WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECK! You can leave your payment in the cash box of the farm store (write your name and what you're paying for on the clipboard) or mail payment to 163 Phillies Bridge Rd, New Paltz, NY 12561.

- Scheduling: Email us at [email protected]. Please keep in mind that we are full-time working farmers with very busy schedules, so some flexibility is needed in finding a mutually beneficial date and time. You can check in about scheduling before you pay, but we do NOT book tours before payment is received.

A Note to Journalists and Artists

If you are a journalist who would like to interview one of the farmers, or a photographer or filmmaker who would like to visit the farm to access subject matter, please read the following paragraph in full for our policy:

First of all, thank you so much for your interest in our farm. If you would like to schedule a phone interview or a visit, we require that you schedule and pay for a farm tour as outlined above. We know this might sound harsh, especially if your resulting piece might be used to promote the farm, but in order for us to survive in the extraordinarily difficult business, we need to set up certain boundaries. As farmers, we have to spend most of our waking hours working, and we do not get vacations or even an occasional day off. This is not a complaint; we love what we do! But our time is extremely precious, and as much as we want to support you in your work, we simply cannot afford to give up our time for free. A tour lasts up to 45 minutes, you can schedule as many as you need, and we can tailor your time to your specific need. Please email us with any questions or to schedule a tour. Thank you for your understanding!
